Malaysian Unity Secretariat (MISI) IIUM, in collaboration with Alumni & Career Service Division IIUM, is planning to conduct a daawah project in Mabul Island, thus this programme is designed as an introduction to serve the Muslim community in Mabul Island.
The detail of the program is as following:-

Mabul is an islan
d off the south-eastern coast of Sabah. From Kota Kinabalu, it takes 55-minutes flight to Tawau and an hour drive to Semporna. By bus, it takes 7 hours from Kota Kinabalu to reach Semporna. From Semporna, it takes another 45 minutes by speedboat to reach Mabul island.The community in Mabul are 95% Muslims. Therefore, our aim is to reach out the Muslim community and to increase the spiritual and self-development of the community. This is the first daawah activity in Mabul Island and it is to be one of our projects in 2010.

Khairulzain Abdul Rahman (Assistant Director, Student Development Division), Bro. Zainuddin Abdul Hanan (S-Dev Officer), Dr. Yasir Ramli (MISI Club Advisor), and to all parties who have been supporting and assisting MISI throughout the preparation of this program..MAY ALLAH BLESS ALL OF U..
